Eric Holder will Investigate High Gas Price, Possible Tea Party Involvement LOL

Eric Holder found disturbing irregularities with the high gas price. Well, it is obvious that Obama's presidential re-election bid in 2012 looks very dismal, and Holder is scared that he will be out of a job. Since speculation in the market, which is a normal stock market occurrence, can drive a commodity through the roof, it could have detrimental effect in our daily life. Holder is reaching the bottom of the barrel to find out the cause of the high gas price. Well, I have some (crazy) thoughts on the matter. Holder suspects an al-Qaeda and Taliban involvement to the crisis. There is a high possibility that a Christian organization is aiding and abetting the manipulation of the oil market. There is a consideration that Israel is to be blamed. Holder will decided if the proceedings for a trail be done in civilian court or at GITMO. There are rumors that Holder will investigate the TEA PARTY movement for their primary role in driving the oil market and depreciation of the dollar. Honestly, Eric Holder is way over his head.

(Reuters) - Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday that he saw some "disturbing" things in the energy markets, which support forming the task force unveiled last week to investigate possible fraud and manipulation.

"There are at least a couple of things that are I think disturbing and I think we'll look into those," Holder told reporters when asked if he believed people were illegally manipulating the market. He declined to identify his concerns.

"But again I don't want go too far out there and say that that is the reason why we have seen these gas price rises, but there is I think a basis for us to announce the formation of the task force," he said.

The Obama administration unveiled the task force working group as President Barack Obama tried to head off a political headache of soaring gasoline prices as his 2012 re-election bid begins.

GOP TEA PARTY WILL FILIBUSTER NATIONAL DEBT CEILING

Raising the ceiling debt will not curb the governments thrist for spending. CUT SPENDING! Debunking a popular myth, not raising the debt ceiling will stop any further spending by the government. The obligation to the interest on our debt will still be paid by the revenues collected by taxes. In fact, the high gas prices is a nice source of tax revenues to the teasury. We need to get serious with our spending before it is too late. By putting it off, we will continue to have the same discussion.

(Politico) The Senate’s Tea Party Caucus will face a tough decision when it comes time to vote to raise the national debt limit: Fall in line behind Republican leadership or go rogue.

The founding members of the new caucus – freshman Sens. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and second-term Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) – are each considering whether to mount a filibuster to block an increase of the $14.3 trillion national debt ceiling.

But Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and his leadership team are quietly voicing concerns about a filibuster, saying their preferred strategy is to force Democrats to find 51 votes among themselves, so they can be solely responsible for raising the national borrowing limit. Since 60 votes would be needed to overcome a filibuster, at least seven Republicans would have to ultimately back a debt limit hike if the party didn’t want to take the blame for forcing a default on the nation’s creditors – which would badly muddy the political message.

The vote, which carries both tangible and political consequences, will be a test of how far the fiercely conservative tea party senators are willing to take their purist ideology.

Congressional Tea Party Members WIll Vote No on 2011 Budget

The 2011 budget deal is heading to the House for the final vote and it seems that the final vote for approval is not a "shoe-in." The truest of true fiscal Conservatives and the congressional members of the Tea Party movement are adamant they will strike a "nay" vote to the legislation. Even with a 24-seat majority, Republicans will almost certainly need the help of fiscally moderate Democrats to get the 2011 plan passed. Honestly, I hope there is a shut down. It will motivate there public servant to do the right thing or they can say bye-bye to their plush job and pension. I find that fear is a get motivator.

(Washington Examiner) A vote on the 2011 budget is scheduled for Wednesday.

But many fiscal conservatives, including Reps. Mike Pence, R-Ind., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, have both announced they will not back the 2011 plan because it cuts only $38.5 billion, a historic amount for a single-year reduction but about $23 billion less than what Republican lawmakers said was needed to fulfill their campaign pledge to reduce spending to 2008 levels.

Jordan, who heads a large faction of conservative House Republicans as chairman of the Republican Study Committee, said he expects significant GOP opposition when the 2011 budget comes up for a vote.

Even with a 24-seat majority, Republicans will almost certainly need the help of fiscally moderate Democrats to get the 2011 plan passed, Republican aides told The Washington Examiner, because many GOP conservatives and freshmen backed by the Tea Party will vote against it.

The federal government is operating under a temporary funding measure that expires Thursday at midnight.

Influential conservatives are pushing the GOP's far right flank to oppose the 2011 bill. Talk show host Rush Limbaugh panned the deal Monday and said the media and political pundits were too eager to praise Boehner, who he said should have pushed harder for deeper cuts.

"It doesn't appear that the rank and file is buying any of the spin," Limbaugh noted.

Chris Edwards, director of tax policy studies at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank, said Republicans may be angered that some of the cuts appear to be from areas of the budget President Obama had already intended to cut or target funds that haven't been allocated yet for specific projects.

"I suspect some of the cuts may not be real cuts," Edwards said, adding that "there may be a bit of a backlash" from conservatives.

Tea Party activists plan on making their disappointment known to the GOP leadership and individual Republican members.

I knew something was wrong when Liberal were praising GOP House Speaker Boehner. Liberals knew it all along. They were praising Boehner for giving the shaft to the Tea Part Movement. Well, 2012 is right around the corner. America is not done yet. There will be 28 Democrat senators and 10 Republican senators entering an election cycle. Both will be purged from Washington. Also, there will be a handful of Congressmen and Congresswomen entering the election cycle too. The American people will get the last laugh as we vote these idiots out of office. (Washington Times) The final 2011 spending deal has more fingerprints of Democrats’ successful defense against cuts than it does House Republicans’ effort to slash federal deficits and rewrite the rules on spending.

Instead of expansive cuts the GOP originally pushed for, the agreement President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, reached with House Speaker John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican, makes use of the scalpel Mr. Obama favored, slicing from programs but overall avoiding the giant cuts to environment, education, job training and public broadcasting.

Also gone are the major billion-dollar cuts to public housing, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the National Institutes of Health and job-training grants — all of which passed the House but did not survive in the final deal.

Instead, the discretionary spending cuts come in large part from savings that would have happened anyway — $6.5 billion in recapturing unspent money from previous years and another $6.2 billion reduction in Census Bureau spending, which was artificially high already because of the 2010 census.

This deceitful accounting manipulation is so common with Washington, especially with the Obama Administration. From the unemployment numbers to balancing the budget, it is all about hiding numbers. Everybody in Washington is in on the act. The GOP establishment knew what was going on with Democrats leading the way. Unfortunately, the America public is not privy to the inner works of Washington. Even though most Americans are blinded by the double standard in Washington, there is one thing Americans can agree. The Legislative and Executive branch are crooks. They are looking for ways to make themselves richer and holding onto power as long as they can. This is why both Democrats, Liberals, and the GOP establishment hates the Tea Party movement. The elitist in Washington have a common enemy that can change the total make-up of America. The Tea Party movement will take back America from Washington and return it to the American people.

(My Way News) WASHINGTON (AP) - The historic $38 billion in budget cuts resulting from at-times hostile bargaining between Congress and the Obama White House were accomplished in large part by pruning money left over from previous years, using accounting sleight of hand and going after programs President Barack Obama had targeted anyway.

Such moves permitted Obama to save favorite programs - Pell grants for poor college students, health research and "Race to the Top" aid for public schools, among others - from Republican knives, according to new details of the legislation released Tuesday morning.

And big holes in foreign aid and Environmental Protection Agency accounts were patched in large part. Republicans also gave up politically treacherous cuts to the Agriculture Department's food inspection program.

The details of the agreement reached late Friday night just ahead of a deadline for a partial government shutdown reveal a lot of one-time savings and cuts that officially "score" as cuts to pay for spending elsewhere, but often have little to no actual impact on the deficit.

As a result of the legerdemain, Obama was able to reverse many of the cuts passed by House Republicans in February when the chamber approved a bill slashing this year's budget by more than $60 billion. In doing so, the White House protected favorites like the Head Start early learning program, while maintaining the maximum Pell grant of $5,550 and funding for Obama's "Race to the Top" initiative that provides grants to better-performing schools.

Instead, the cuts that actually will make it into law are far tamer, including cuts to earmarks, unspent census money, leftover federal construction funding, and $2.5 billion from the most recent renewal of highway programs that can't be spent because of restrictions set by other legislation. Another $3.5 billion comes from unused spending authority from a program providing health care to children of lower-income families.

The Biggest Loser of the Budget Deal is the Tea Party

Rush Limbaugh is right. The media hates the GOP. Ever since the budget passed, the media is praising and acknowledging that John Boehner got the upper hand of the deal. The loser of this fight isn't Obama, but the Tea Party. It is obvious that the media is being condescending that the Tea Party didn't get what they wanted. The media is in glee. But since the media can't target a particular member of the Tea Party, anything to belittle them and make them insignificant is a success. That is the only limitation the media, Liberals, and Rhinos could muster. The Tea Party is not a true party. It is a grassroots made-up of concern citizens of every political faction. In reality, 38 billion is peanuts compared to the trillions in deficits. 2012 will be here very soon. The GOP establishment better watch out for more backlash from the Tea Party community. In fact, Rush got the GOP establishment on his radar.

Media Declares Boehner Win to Neuter the Tea Party base

RUSH: Last campaign, Republicans promised $100 billion in cuts if they were elected to run Congress. Then the $100 billion became $61 billion -- and, by the way, the $100 billion, if we are all honest... In fact, when that $100 billion was first announced during the campaign we all kind of scratched our heads and said, "What? Just a $100 billion? That's it, just a hundred billion? That was the pledge?" But regardless, let's stick to the subject for just a second. That was the pledge: $100 billion, then it became $61 billion prorated, and it ends up $38.5 billion. What changed? The answer is very simple.

What "changed" is the DC ruling class uniting in its effort to neuter the Tea Party. That's what changed -- and I remember we spoke about it on several occasions on this program. I warned you people many times: "The ruling class of Washington doesn't -- including the Republican element of the ruling class -- doesn't like the Tea Party, doesn't like something they can't control." The Tea Party doesn't have a leader. It's genuine grassroots. It consists of people who have never prior been active in politics, but they're so upset, they're so alarmed and they're so concerned, they are now. You ever stopped to think of this?

Intellectually, you and I know that the Democrat Party and the mainstream media hate John Boehner just as they would hate any Republican leader. They hated Reagan. It's nothing personal with Boehner. They just hate him -- and now, all of a sudden, they're praising Boehner to the hilt. Now, all of a sudden -- and you've heard it all weekend long -- Boehner is the big winner? It just doesn't connect intellectually. You know it and I know it. You may not have been able to put your finger on it at first, but you knew it didn't sound right. You knew it didn't make sense using intelligence guided by experience.

These guys don't like Boehner. Now $38.5 billion dollars is a big win? He snookered Obama? Wait a minute here. This doesn't add up. Unless -- unless -- this is seen as Boehner's victory over, not Obama, but the Tea Party -- and isn't it the case that the Democrats and the RINOs look at $38.5 billion as a victory over the Tea Party? Remember, Democrats, the media, liberals hate us. They fear us more than they fear Al-Qaeda. They think we are the biggest enemy they face. Anything that marginalizes us, they celebrate. If they think Boehner has marginalized the Tea Party -- if they think the Tea Party has been neutered within the Republican caucus -- then, yeah, it makes all the sense in the world to praise Boehner.

$32 Billion in Budget Cuts Proposed by GOP

Not enough, but at least it is a start......

(New York Times) WASHINGTON — After clamoring loudly about their plans to curtail federal spending, House Republicans announced Thursday that they would cut $32 billion for the remainder of the fiscal year — a minuscule amount compared with a projected annual deficit of nearly $1.5 trillion.

The Republican proposal is effectively $58 billion less than the domestic and foreign aid programs in President Obama’s budget request for 2011 — far short of the $100 billion in cuts that Representative John A. Boehner promised before the November elections that catapulted Republicans into the House majority and made him the speaker.

Republicans said that their cuts, prorated for the balance of the fiscal year, still fulfilled their campaign pledge to reduce to 2008 levels the government’s discretionary spending on everything other than national security. They said that the Democrats’ failure to approve a budget or pass any of the normal spending bills precluded further cuts.

But their unwillingness to impose steeper reductions also reflected the severe difficulty they face in slashing spending on the wide scale demanded by some Republicans, especially Tea Party-backed freshmen elected partly on a promise of fiscal restraint.

The Republican Study Committee, a conservative bloc that counts a majority of House Republicans among its members, has called for more than $100 billion in cuts this fiscal year, and $2.5 trillion in reductions over the next decade. The group sent a letter to Mr. Boehner urging him to meet or exceed that because voters expected no less.

Two years ago, when Barack Obama became our President, unemployment was 7.8 percent and our national debt stood at what seemed like a staggering $10.6 trillion dollars.We wondered whether the President would cut spending, reduce the deficit and implement real job-creating policies.

Unfortunately, the President’s strategy for recovery was to spend a trillion dollars on a failed stimulus program, fueled by borrowed money.

The White House promised us that all the spending would keep unemployment under 8 percent.
Not only did that plan fail to deliver, but within three months the national jobless rate spiked to 9.4 percent. And sadly, it hasn’t been lower for 20 straight months. While the government grew, we lost more than 2 million jobs.

Here are unemployment rates over the past ten years. In October 2001, our national unemployment rate was at 5.3 percent. In 2008 it was at 6.6 percent. But, just eight months after President Obama promised lower unemployment, that rate spiked to a staggering 10.1 percent.

Today, unemployment is at 9.4 percent with about 400,000 new claims every week.
After the $700 billion bailout, the trillion-dollar stimulus, and the $410 billion spending bill with over 9,000 earmarks, many of you implored Washington to please stop spending money we don’t have.

But, instead of cutting, we saw an unprecedented explosion of government spending and debt, unlike anything we have seen in the history of our country.

Deficits were unacceptably high under President Bush, but they exploded under President Obama’s direction, growing the national debt by an astounding $3.1 trillion-dollars.

What did we buy?

Instead of a leaner, smarter government, we bought a bureaucracy that tells us which light bulbs to buy, and which will put 16,500 IRS agents in charge of policing President Obama’s healthcare bill.

ObamaCare mandates and penalties will force many job creators to stop offering health insurance altogether, unless yours is one of the more-than-222 privileged companies or unions that has received a government waiver.

In the end, unless we fully repeal ObamaCare, a nation that currently enjoys the world’s best healthcare may be forced to rely on government-run coverage that will have a devastating impact on our national debt for generations to come.

For two years President Obama made promises just like the ones we heard him make tonight. Yet still we have high unemployment, devalued housing prices and the cost of gasoline is skyrocketing.

Here are a few suggestions for fixing our economy:

The President could stop the EPA from imposing a job-destroying cap-and-trade system.

The President could support a Balanced Budget Amendment.

The President could agree to an energy policy that increases American energy production and reduces our dependence on foreign oil.

The President could also turn back some of the 132 regulations put in place in the last two years, many of which will cost our economy $100 million or more.

And, the President should repeal ObamaCare and support free market solutions like medical malpractice reform and allow all Americans to buy any healthcare policy they like anywhere in the United States.

We need to start making things again in this country, and we can do that by reducing the tax and regulatory burdens on job creators.

America will have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Look no further to see why jobs are moving overseas.

But, thanks to you, there’s reason to hope that real spending cuts are coming. Last November you went to the polls and voted out big-spending politicians and you put in their place men and women with a commitment to follow the Constitution and cut the size of government.

I believe that we are in the early days of a history-making turn.

Please know how important your calls, visits, and letters are to the maintenance of our liberties. Because of you, Congress responded and we are starting to undo the damage that’s been done.

We believe in lower taxes, a limited view of government and the exceptionalism of America. And I believe America is the indispensible nation.

Just the creation of this nation was a miracle. Who’s to say that we can’t see a miracle again?

The perilous battle that was fought in the pacific, at Iwo Jima, was a battle against all odds, and yet the image of the young G.I.s in the incursion against the Japanese immortalizes their victory.

These six young men raising the flag came to symbolize all of America coming together to beat back a totalitarian aggressor.

Our current debt crisis we face today is different, but we still need all of us to pull together. We can do this.

And that’s the hope we hold tonight as Americans. We will push forward to reclaim the greatness of our country and to proclaim the liberty upon which we were founded.

And we will do so because we the people will never give up on this great nation.

House GOP Lists $2.5 Trillion in Spending Cuts

As promised, the Tea Party Republicans in Congress is cleaning house. They already got the 112th Congress to repeal Obamacare. Today, the Tea Party Republicans aggressively presented to the House a way to eliminate $2.5 Trillion in spending in the next 10 years. At this point, the GOP establishment and Liberals are scared that the Tea Party Republicans will change how Washington will function. Now, this is the "Hope and Change" we can all believe in.

FY 2011 CR Amendment: Replace the spending levels in the FY 2011 continuing resolution (NYSE: CR - News) with non-defense, non-homeland security, non-veterans spending at FY 2008 levels. The legislation will further prohibit any FY 2011 funding from being used to carry out any provision of the Democrat government takeover of health care, or to defend the health care law against any lawsuit challenging any provision of the act. $80 billion savings.

Discretionary Spending Limit, FY 2012-2021: Eliminate automatic increases for inflation from CBO baseline projections for future discretionary appropriations. Further, impose discretionary spending limits through 2021 at 2006 levels on the non-defense portion of the discretionary budget. $2.29 trillion savings over ten years.

Federal Workforce Reforms: Eliminate automatic pay increases for civilian federal workers for five years. Additionally, cut the civilian workforce by a total of 15 percent through attrition. Allow the hiring of only one new worker for every two workers who leave federal employment until the reduction target has been met. (Savings included in above discretionary savings figure).

"Stimulus" Repeal: Eliminate all remaining "stimulus" funding. $45 billion total savings.

Eliminate federal control of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. $30 billion total savings.

Repeal the Medicaid FMAP increase in the "State Bailout" (Senate amendments to S. 1586). $16.1 billion total savings.

The vote was 245 to 189, and unanimous GOP support gave the vote the same partisan feel of the March vote to pass the law, underscoring once again the hardened political lines of the health care debate. Only three Democrats backed the repeal, a smaller number than Republicans had once predicted.
