Obama Say I Dare You to Repeal Obamacare

Obama is taunting the GOP to try and repeal Obamacare. The president is arrogant and out of touch with mainstream America. In fact, Obama tells the GOP that they went to voted for two wars that were unpaid for, voted for the Bush tax cuts that were unpaid for, voted for the prescription drug bill that cost as much as my health care bill, but wasn't paid for. The problem of Obama plight is that Bush was able to sustain it with a strong economy; 57 weeks of economic growth after Sept 11. Also, the tax cuts to business kept the unemployment around 5.7%. Obamacare cost more than the 2 wars in Afghanistan and Iraq combined. Obama increased spending during an economic turmoil and started a war in Libya without asking Congress permission. Unemployment is still at 10% (Gallup survey) and inflation is through the roof. So, there is no comparison to the matter.

(CBS NEWS) In what he thought was a private chat with campaign donors Thursday evening, President Obama offered the most revealing behind-the-scenes account to date of his budget negotiations with GOP leaders last week.

CBS Radio News White House correspondent Mark Knoller listened in to an audio feed of Mr. Obama's conversation with donors after other reporters traveling with the president had left the room.

In the candid remarks, Mr. Obama complains of Republican attempts to attach measures to the budget bill which would have effectively killed parts of his hard-won health care reform program.

"I said, 'You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We'll have that debate. You're not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we're stupid?'" recalled the president of his closed-door negotiations on the bill to fund the federal government until September.

Mr. Obama said he told House Speaker John Boehner and members of his staff that he'd spent a year and a half getting the sweeping health care legislation passed -- paying "significant political costs" along the way -- and wouldn't let them undo it in a six-month spending bill.

Mr. Obama bemoaned GOP leaders' attempts to attach a measure to the budget bill which would have cut funding for Planned Parenthood.

"Put it in a separate bill," the president said he told Boehner and his staff. "We'll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don't try to sneak this through."

New CBO Report Claim Repealing Obamacare Would Save $1.4 Trillion

It doesn't take rocket science to figure this no-brainer..............

(American Spectator) — Repealing the new national
health care law would result in gross savings of $1.4 trillion, a new report by the Congressional Budget Office finds.

During the health care debate, Democrats were hard pressed to keep up
with President Obama’s promise that the legislation would cost “around $900 billion.” So they employed the gimmick of delaying the major spending provisions until 2014 to make the legislation appear cheaper within the CBO’s ten-year budget window, then 2010 through 2019. At the time, I calculated that this tactic deferred 98 percent of the spending to the last six years of that period.

Well, now two years have passed, and the CBO’s budget window has shifted to 2012 through 2021 — and volià — the estimate that was $940 billion at the time of passage has suddenly gone up to $1.4 trillion. Keep in mind that this estimate still includes two years (2012 and 2013) prior to full implementation.

Clearly, the actual 10-year cost of the major coverage provisions is going to be even higher — likely something closer to $1.8 trillion.

A nice reminder how your vote in last November election was a waste of time. Look at those Incumbent Democrats, who promised to repeal Obamacare, lied to the voters. For instance, look at West Virgina Democrat Senator Manchin. He supported and voted for Obamacare. During his 2010 Senate campaign, he promised to repeal it. The 2012 election is coming next year. There will be 24 Democrat seat up for re-election vs. 10 Republican seats. Don't be an "noob" and let the Democrats lie to you again!

Obamacare Repeal Failed in Senate But There is Still Hope

The fight is not over......

(The Hill) The Senate on Wednesday voted down a repeal of President Obama’s healthcare law in a 47-51 party-line vote.

The vote came two weeks to the day the Republican House voted 245-189 to repeal the law, and just days after a federal judge ruled Obama’s signature legislative achievement is unconstitutional.

Republicans have vowed to carry the fight forward, saying they will seek to de-fund the law as it is implemented. The GOP also has promised Wednesday’s repeal vote will not be the last in this Congress.

(Politico) House Republicans passed a bill to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care plan Wednesday, taking their first major step toward rolling back the massive overhaul that has dominated the American political landscape for almost two years.

The vote was 245 to 189, and unanimous GOP support gave the vote the same partisan feel of the March vote to pass the law, underscoring once again the hardened political lines of the health care debate. Only three Democrats backed the repeal, a smaller number than Republicans had once predicted.
