Motorcade left the Intercontinental Hotel at 9 am local and arrived at the St. Regis for President Obama's last Bay area fundraiser. A couple dozen demonstrators are on a corner across the street from the hotel. They have signs - "Yes We Cannabis" and "Protect Marijuana Patients Rights" - and are chanting something your pooler couldn't make out. One of them also has sign of Uncle Sam's face with "LIAR" written on his hat.

About 200 donors were at the breakfast fundraiser, per a Democratic official.Your pooler counted 15 tables with 10 chairs each, however, and not all tables were full, including one in the back where Valerie Jarrett, Jay Carney and Patrick Gaspard sat with two other people. Tickets are $35,800 each. The money goes to The Victory Fund, a joint account of the Obama campaign and the DNC. $5,000 goes to the campaign, and $30,800 goes to DNC.

POTUS was introduced by Nancy Pelosi. "We can thank him for bringing hope where there was despair for some," Ms. Pelosi said. POTUS, she said, was a job creator from the start."His reelection is absolutely essential to our country's future," Ms. Pelosi said. POTUS spoke with a handheld mic. "I'll admit I sort of slept in," POTUS said.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Lt Gov. Gavin Newsom was seated front, former Mayor Willie Brown, "no matter how hard I try, Willie is still better dressed than me - although I'm still getting used to the no mustache thing." POTUS called Ms. Pelosi one of the greatest speakers in history. He started to launch into his stump speech when Ms. Pelosi interrupted to say Gov. Jerry Brown had been there.

Mr. Obama was in the middle of his remarks when a woman in a white suit stood up and said, Mr. President we wrote you a song. POTUS tried to get her to wait until later, but she persisted and the table of 10 broke into a song that pointed out they'd just spent $5,000 donating to his campaign and went on to protest the treatment of Pfc. Bradley Manning. The woman stayed standing as they sang. Mr. Obama looked to Ms. Pelosi and asked, Nancy did you do this? Ms. Pelosi had a look on her face, as she stared at the singing group, that definitely said she did not. The song - will send quotes after transcribe - talked about Bradley Manning and how he is "alone in a cell..."

The 10 singers then passed around 8.5x11 signs that said "Free Bradley Manning" or had a photo of him.Then the woman in the white suit stripped off her jacket to reveal a black T-shirt that said Free Bradley Manning, with an image of him. "We paid our dues. Where's our change?" they sang. USSS and WH staff had moved near the table at this point. The woman was escorted out. Two others left on their own. (The rest stayed and applauded at the end of POTUS's speech.)

"That was a nice song," a displeased Mr. Obama said. "Now where was I?" POTUS asked. As was indicated by that song, "Over the last 2 and a half years, change turned out to be tougher than we expected," POTUS said.

Also, on POTUS - your pooler would say he took the song in stride and at first he didn't seem to realize it was a protest song.

In other news, the menu included scrambled organic Petaluma farmed eggs, chicked apple sausages, organic fingerling potatoes; fruit and berries; miniature danishes and Matzo crackers. Motorcade is rolling to the airport at 10 am local.

(CNSNews.com) - In the 1,461 days that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) served as speaker of the House, the national debt increased by a total of $5.343 trillion ($5,343,452,800,321.37) or $3.66 billion per day ($3.657,394,113.84), according to official debt numbers published by the U.S. Treasury.

Pelosi was the 52nd speaker of the House. During her tenure, she amassed more debt than the first 49 speakers combined.

Pelosi served as speaker for four full years, including one leap year, making her time in that office 1,461 days. On average, the federal government added $3.66 billion ($3,657,394,113.84) in new debt for each of those days.

Pelosi not only outstripped her predecessors in the total volume of debt added to the national debt during her tenure as speaker, but also in the rate at which new debt was added. In fact, Pelosi added debt at a rate more than three times faster than her nearest competitor.

(Washington Times) Rep. John A. Boehner of Ohio was elected speaker of the House Wednesday in a vote that saw a significant portion of the Democratic caucus vote for someone other than outgoing Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Even though he doesn't have the numbers to win, Blue Dog Congressman Democrat Heath Shuler (N.C.) said on Sunday that he will run for House Democratic Leader if Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) doesn't drop her bid for the top-ranking position. The persistence of Nancy Pelosi to maintain her power as a minority leader is baffling to many people. She was the cause of the Democratic demise in the 2010 Mid-Term Election.

Heath Shuler stated,

“Let’s be realistic about it, there’s very few numbers of (moderates) left, the entire House is being pushed further and further apart in their different viewpoints and the moderates have to bring our country together to move our country forward. I would really hope that [Pelosi] would step aside to allow Steny Hoyer, James Clyburn -- those gentlemen-to step forward in the leadership positions that they held in the majority, to be the leader and to be whip.”

The quote Shuler uttered is deafening. The election wasn't about the landslide Republican victory. It was removing the Blue Dog Democrats and moderate Democrats out of Congress. This means the remaining Democrats in Congress are full of progressive liberals. If Republicans lose in 2012 and Obama gains re-election, it is certain every Socialist program that failed this time around won't share that fate in 2012.

Pelosi Push Congressman James Clyburn to the Back of the Bus

House Democrats averted a messyleadership struggle, clearing the way for Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer to become second in command of their new minority without a challenge from South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn.

Under an arrangement worked out in private, officials said late Friday that Clyburn would instead receive a new position, title unknown and duties undescribed, explicitly labeled the third-ranking post in leadership.

The maneuvering was described by Democratic officials after Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., issued a vaguely worded statement saying she intends to nominate Clyburn to a new No. 3 post. The statement made no mention of Hoyer, and officials who filled in the details did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not permitted to speak publicly about the matter.

Instead of admitting that a black man is incapable to do the work of the white man, Pelosi used political correctness to avoid a backlash from the Congressional Black Caucus. Although her move may look innocent, in reality, it is a slap to the face of every black American. It is incredulous for a racist witch from San Francisco to push the black man to the back of the bus. That is what Pelosi is doing to James Clyburn.

As noted, Pelosi never explained what exactly will Clyburn do. He won’t be pushing votes as a whip does or chairing a policy committee for the caucus. Therefore, there is no benefit this brings to the House Democratic caucus and Pelosi. By resolving the Hoyer-Clyburn conflict in an insufficient manner, Pelosi is delaying the inevitable. She will later face questions about how her insistence on keeping her grip on power and the nasty confrontation with the Congressional Black Caucus on Clyburn's treatment as a puppet to the white man.

Former "soon to be" House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she has the unwaivering support of fellow Democrats in her bid to become minority leader in the next Congress. She also stated that she’s not to blame for the Democrats’ mid-term massacre.

Instead, Pelosi blames the mid-term onslaught on the 9.6% unemployment and “$100 million of outside, unidentified funding.” Apparently, she pushed many bills through Congress that caused high unemployment. This is the same person who said that the Democrats will remain the Majority after the mid-term election. She is still in denial because she caused a 60 House Democrat seat lost during the mid-term election.
