There are reports of malicious activities with TSA workers using the body scanners at various airports. From poking fun at the passengers body parts to printing out the x-rays for personal use, the use a body scanner violates our privacy rights. I would rather get a full pat down than go through a body scanner. TSA is using an obtrusive way to make the passenger think twice before asking a pat down, and use the body scanner instead. It is likely that TSA is making the rigorous pat down as a deterrent.
If these TSA employees continue to belittle or embarrass these passengers, I would personally make it a point to embarrass them back. If they want to cup my private parts, I would moan to put the inspector in an embarrassing moment. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
