Universal Healthcare in UK is a Nightmare, Same Too with Obamacare

Obamacare is the same as Universal Healthcare seen throughout Europe and Canada. It is rationed care using "death panels" to determine outcome and cost savings. Therefore, a persons life is inconsequential to the cost effectiveness of a procedure or therapy. It is a bitter truth, but people in America refuse to accept it. Obamacare means death to all seniors citizen because they are not cost effective to tax payers. It means survival of the fittest. The younger you are means a better chance to get treated faster; in order that, they will more productive to society. It means temporary fix with a pill than a permanent solution with a procedure.

(BBC) Surgeons say patients in some parts of England have spent months waiting in pain because of delayed operations or new restrictions on who qualifies for treatment.

In several areas routine surgery was put on hold for months, while in many others new thresholds for hip and knee replacements have been introduced.

The moves are part of the NHS drive to find £20bn efficiency savings by 2015.

The government said performance should be measured by outcomes not numbers.

Surgeons have described the delays faced by patients as "devastating and cruel". Peter Kay, the president of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), says they've become increasingly frustrated that hip and knee replacements are being targeted as a way of finding savings.

"We've started to get reports over the last nine months that access to these services are being restricted. General Practitioners were told not so send as many patients to hospital, maybe to delay referrals until the end of the financial year while perhaps introducing thresholds for surgery."

He says that simply delaying surgery by one means or another does not improve the outcome for patients as their condition can deteriorate.

"The double jeopardy is that patients wait longer in pain, and when they have the operation, the result might not have been as good as it otherwise would have been had they had it early. "

Professor John Appleby, chief economist at the Kings Fund, says it is a mystery why these operations are being targeted for savings. "I find it difficult to understand. Hip operations are quite expensive, but patients get a lot of benefit for that money. This is actually very good value for money indeed."

These delays and restrictions are a response to the financial challenge facing the NHS in England. The scale of it was set out under the last Labour government, but the decisions on how to find those savings are being made now.

The coalition government has stopped performance managing the 18 week waiting time, although it remains a legal right under the NHS constitution.

A Department of Health spokesman said: "When clinicians and patients are making decisions about joint replacement surgery, it is right that other procedures - which could provide better outcomes for patients and provide better value for taxpayers - are also considered.

Democrat Congressman Christopher Murphy Ended a One Sided Bromance with Justin Bieber

A 37-year old Democrat congressman ended a one-sided bromance with Justin Bieber. The thought is absolutely sick. There is no reason to invoke Justin Bieber with politics because the demographic group that Justin attracts can't vote. So, what is the true intent of Congressman Christopher Murphy having deep feelings over this kid? Hmmm....

(NewsMax) HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — For a short time, they seemed so simpatico: the idealistic congressman, the teenage singing sensation, their shared disappointment in the U.S. health care system.

Now, though, Connecticut Democrat Christopher Murphy and Justin Bieber, the famously coiffed Pied Piper of love-struck girls worldwide, have parted ways philosophically over the Biebs' opposition to abortion.

Their split is less puzzling to some observers than the fact that Murphy, 37, a three-term U.S. representative, even invoked the pop star as a voice of authority in the first place.

Like many of today's flare-and-fizzle connections, their one-sided bromance played out electronically with a few Twitter messages and hashtags, or short phrases and words used to categorize posts according to their topics.

Murphy, who authors his own tweets, wrote Thursday morning: "Bieber on health care" and added the hashtag, "(hash)mycaseofbieberfever," plus a link to Bieber's comments in a recent Rolling Stone interview.

The Canadian-born singer called the U.S. health care system "evil" for the medical debt it places on some patients. But in the same interview, Bieber also mentioned his opposition to abortion, which he considers to be "like killing a baby."

Less than an hour after his first tweet about Bieber's health care concerns, Murphy was back on Twitter. His chagrined comment: "Oh wait ... just heard what Biebs said about abortion. Ugh."

Thus ended the brief affinity, though it's unclear whether Bieber even knew about it, between launching a world tour, appearing at the recent Grammy Awards, guest-starring on "CSI" and promoting his new movie. A representative for him did not immediately respond to an e-mail Friday seeking comment.

New CBO Report Claim Repealing Obamacare Would Save $1.4 Trillion

It doesn't take rocket science to figure this no-brainer..............

(American Spectator) — Repealing the new national
health care law would result in gross savings of $1.4 trillion, a new report by the Congressional Budget Office finds.

During the health care debate, Democrats were hard pressed to keep up
with President Obama’s promise that the legislation would cost “around $900 billion.” So they employed the gimmick of delaying the major spending provisions until 2014 to make the legislation appear cheaper within the CBO’s ten-year budget window, then 2010 through 2019. At the time, I calculated that this tactic deferred 98 percent of the spending to the last six years of that period.

Well, now two years have passed, and the CBO’s budget window has shifted to 2012 through 2021 — and voliĆ  — the estimate that was $940 billion at the time of passage has suddenly gone up to $1.4 trillion. Keep in mind that this estimate still includes two years (2012 and 2013) prior to full implementation.

Clearly, the actual 10-year cost of the major coverage provisions is going to be even higher — likely something closer to $1.8 trillion.

A new Democratic threat to health care law

We don't need charity from these moderate Democrats. We want them out of office. Their insincere gesture is for political expediency.

Politico) A handful of moderate Senate Democrats are looking for ways to roll back the highly contentious individual mandate — the pillar of President Barack Obama’s health care law — a sign that red-state senators are prepared to assert their independence ahead of the 2012 elections.

They haven’t decided whether to propose legislation, but any effort by moderate Democrats that takes aim at the individual mandate could embarrass Obama and embolden Republicans who are still maneuvering to take down the health care law.

And it’s not just health care. The senators are prepared to break with the White House on a wide range of issues: embracing deeper spending cuts, scaling back business regulations and overhauling environmental rules. The moderates most likely to buck their party include Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Jon Tester of Montana — all of whom are up for reelection in 2012 and represent states Obama lost in 2008.

Senate repeals part of health care law

GOP plan is to dismantle each provision of Obamacare one by one....

(Politico) The Senate voted Wednesday for the first time to repeal a piece of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, rolling back a new tax reporting requirement that’s been universally panned by business owners.

The amendment to repeal the 1099 reporting requirement passed 81-17 with broad bipartisan support.

The provision would have required business owners to file 1099 tax documents on all cumulative purchases from a single vendor that total more than $600 in a year.

It was included in the health law because it would have raised about $17 billion in previously uncollected taxes. A bipartisan collection of business groups have opposed the provision, arguing that it would bury them in paperwork.

The repeal would be paid for by requiring the Office of Management and Budget to find the funding in unspent but appropriated funds.

Obamacare Repeal Failed in Senate But There is Still Hope

The fight is not over......

(The Hill) The Senate on Wednesday voted down a repeal of President Obama’s healthcare law in a 47-51 party-line vote.

The vote came two weeks to the day the Republican House voted 245-189 to repeal the law, and just days after a federal judge ruled Obama’s signature legislative achievement is unconstitutional.

Republicans have vowed to carry the fight forward, saying they will seek to de-fund the law as it is implemented. The GOP also has promised Wednesday’s repeal vote will not be the last in this Congress.

The Tea Party Movement Took the House and Repealed Obamacare

The new Tea Party Members of the House of Representatives took the 112th Congress and repealed Obamacare as promised!

(Politico) House Republicans passed a bill to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care plan Wednesday, taking their first major step toward rolling back the massive overhaul that has dominated the American political landscape for almost two years.

The vote was 245 to 189, and unanimous GOP support gave the vote the same partisan feel of the March vote to pass the law, underscoring once again the hardened political lines of the health care debate. Only three Democrats backed the repeal, a smaller number than Republicans had once predicted.

Obama Quietly Put Death Panel Back into Obamacare

Knowing Obamacare cannot survive without Death Panels, Obama was able to sneak in Death Panels back into Obamacare through new Medicare regulations.

(NY Times)- When a proposal to encourage end-of-life planning touched off a political storm over “death panels,” Democrats dropped it from legislation to overhaul the health care system. But the Obama administration will achieve the same goal by regulation, starting Jan. 1.

Under the new policy, outlined in a Medicare regulation, the government will pay doctors who advise patients on options for end-of-life care, which may include advance directives to forgo aggressive life-sustaining treatment.

Congressional supporters of the new policy, though pleased, have kept quiet. They fear provoking another furor like the one in 2009 when Republicans seized on the idea of end-of-life counseling to argue that the Democrats’ bill would allow the government to cut off care for the critically ill.

While the new law does not mention advance care planning, the Obama administration has been able to achieve its policy goal through the regulation-writing process, a strategy that could become more prevalent in the next two years as the president deals with a strengthened Republican opposition in Congress.

OBAMACARE IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL

This one paragraph says it all. Obamacare is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!

(Bloomberg)The Obama administration’s requirement that most citizens maintain minimum health coverage as part of a broad overhaul of the industry is unconstitutional, a federal judge ruled, striking down the linchpin of the plan.

Obama Promise We Can Keep Our Own Doctors But Didnt Tell that to the Doctors

There will be a national shortage of doctors in America. Obamacare will force many doctors to close their practice or severely restrict accepting certain patients. With the high cost of medical education, new medical graduates often worry how they will repay back the college loan and to make a living under Obamacare. Overall, it is extremely important to abolish this heinous bill!

(New York Post) For all the times that President Obama promised "you'll get to keep your doctor" under his health-care reforms, he apparently failed to ask any practicing doctors.

A recent survey finds that countless MDs will respond to ObamaCare by limiting which patients they'll see.

The Physicians Foundation asked 2,400 doctors and American Medical Association members what they thought of the new law; a full 67 percent were against it.

More important, it asked how they'd cope with the new rules (which don't fully kick in until 2014). Sixty percent said they feel compelled to "close or significantly restrict their practices to certain categories of patients." And 59 percent said the "reform" would oblige them to spend less time with the patients they do have.

Of course, many doctors already limit how many patients they'll take on who depend on government insurance (whose fees rarely cover an MD's costs). But it'll get worse under ObamaCare: In the survey, some 87 percent said they would significantly restrict Medicare patients and 93 percent said they'd significantly restrict Medicaid patients.

All in all, the survey found that 74 percent of doctors will alter how they practice.

Next Tea Party Target: Corporate America

Let's get the record straight. The American public got duped in believing the narrative from the Mainstream Media that corporations (big business) support Republicans. This assumption is a big time fallacy. In reality, Obama and many of his Democrat minions are under the payroll of big business. This relationship pushing a radical progressive agenda is destroying the freedom and liberty of all Americans.

(US News.com) Starting next year, the huge Tea Party organizer FreedomWorks will urge supporters to punish huge corporations like General Electric and Johnson and Johnson for backing President Obama's progressive agenda.

In an exclusive review for Whispers of their plan, FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe says: "Tea Party activists are willing to tackle progressive CEOs just as they tackled progressive politicians. Judging by the results of the midterm elections, progressive CEOs should buckle up, because Tea Party activists are going to give them a very bumpy ride."

Obama Forces 700,000 Seniors Out of Medical Coverage

Obama laughs at 700 thousand more seniors. President Barack Obama is a bald faced liar and senior citizens will die thanks to this duplicitous Chicago politician.

Obama said while trying to pass his government takeover of your health care that you would be able to keep your doctor and health care plan. Like Jon Lovitz of Saturday Night Live, he lied and he knew it.

Last year we heard it over and over, I'm talking of course about President Obama's promise that if you like your plan you can keep it. Well forget it. Today it was discovered that another 700,000 Seniors will have to change plans, because health insurers are shutting down certain types of plans because of legislative changes and looming cuts to federal funding. That is on top of the announcement in August that three million seniors would have to get new providers.

Cigna Corp., Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, several Blue Cross Blue Shield plans and others aren't renewing hundreds of Medicare Advantage plans, which are Medicare policies administered by private insurers. The moves will displace some 700,000 beneficiaries who must find new policies, according to Humana Inc., a large seller of Advantage plans.

For 2011, the Kaiser Family Foundation said there will be a 13% decline in the number of Medicare Advantage plans. "

He lied about the Death Panels--there are two.

He lied about his takeover of your health care would bring down costs. "The pullback is largely due to a 2008 law that required the plans to have networks of preferred doctors, with the idea that managed care could be less costly and aggressive marketing could be curbed. Some providers of traditional fee-for-service policies decided to close the plans rather than invest in networks. But some insurers say the federal health-care overhaul, which includes $140 billion in cuts to reimbursements for Advantage plans over 10 years, is a factor as well.

Insurers are also saying as the market tightens up more plans will close and prices will go up."

Why would you expect to have costs go down if you cut half a trillion dollars from Medicare and add 32 million people to be served. Oh, all of this without adding a single doctor and lowering reimbursement fee for hospitals and doctors.

Thanks to the hack from Chicago, not only is our economy tanking, the value of our dollar going down 20%, but our very health is now in trouble. About 735 days to regime change--this is no longer about politics; it is about saving your life.

AARP Support for Obamacare causing their Employees Premium to Go UP

AARP's deceitful message to every senior in America helped push President Barack Obama's plan for Obamacare. Ironically, AARP's lie has cost their own employees a compromise in their insurance.

In an e-mail to employees, AARP says health care premiums will increase by 8 percent to 13 percent next year because of rapidly rising medical costs and as a result of hidden taxes in the Obamacare law.

So, here is a very valuable lesson to learn. Never vote on something that was never read, especially a 2500 page document. Also, when someone says something that is too good to be true; then it is too good to be true.
