Since the beginning of May, we seem to have been edging closer to winter again rather than to summer! The tower of Saltaire's United Reformed Church, however, looks splendid against a moody sky. I just love all those blue-grey tones with the honey coloured stone. I think the dome is covered in lead - thankfully it's too high for thieves to strip it! (Though you may remember I said in an earlier post they'd managed to plunder the roof of the Salt Family Mausoleum attached to the church.)To see more photos of the church, click the 'Saltaire URC' label.
