I don't mind cane furniture, but in its place. And its place should be a verandah, or a conservatory. These pieces look as though they are in a substantial room of the house, but at a pinch I suppose they could be the "garden room", as there are French windows out onto a balustraded balcony. Also, they are extremely elegant pieces, so there's potential for forgiveness there too. But as a rule, I think "not indoors".

Cane, but not able
I don't mind cane furniture, but in its place. And its place should be a verandah, or a conservatory.
