With a Democrat in the Oval Office, Five Dollars a Gallon is No Big Deal

Rush Limbaugh exposes the hypocrisy of the Main Stream Media. Under Bush, the media went on a rampage with the $4.00/gallon of gasoline, but under Obama, it is denyingly quiet. It is abundantly clear that Obama is forcing us to change our ways. The president wants us to get rid of our big SUVs and trucks. Obama wants us to buy expensive hybrids, smaller economical cars (deathtraps), use more mass transit, and buy defective electric cars. Well, the government cannot tell the American public or force us to buy something that we don't want.

Transcript from Rush Limbaugh Show

RUSH: It is so predictable. There's MSNBC during their one-year retrospective impact of the Gulf oil spill. And you know what the purpose is of this particular episode being anchored by Andrea Mitchell is. The purpose here is to make sure we don't drill for oil ever again. It's to support Obama and the regime 'cause, man, look what almost happened. Do you realize every prediction of doom and disaster from that oil spill ended up being totally wrong, as wrong as you could be if you wanted to be a hundred percent wrong, and yet here they are, their one year retrospective with the whole focal point being, "Boy, it was a disaster, dangerous, could have been really disastrous. We better never drill for oil again." Why do this? What's the big deal about this anniversary? And to whom is it an anniversary, aside from the media? Zilch, nobody.

I want to show you something on the Dittocam. I just turned it off while I zoomed tight. We did a little Google search here. In the previous hour of the program I made reference to the fact that, where are all the stories on the gasoline price going up? Five bucks a gallon. If you heard the riff, you know, I don't need to repeat it, basically the point of it was that compared to 2005, the last time gasoline prices spiked big time, there's no coverage of it. So, yeah, while the price is exceeding four bucks in many places, five bucks in Washington, there's not this accompanying panic. No. What are we getting? A one-year look-back at the oil spill. So the media is doing everything it can to suppress any negative economic impact to Obama, virtually no coverage of the rising gasoline price.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is a search, gasoline prices, Google trends. Here it is. That big spike that you see on the left is 2005 when the price was approaching four bucks a gallon and the oil price was around $150. That's been the way they've been covering gasoline prices since. This year, no coverage. See the little spike there. It just proves the point that I was making an hour ago, and that is that there's no coverage on this. I mean people are sending me notes, "Gasoline prices are skyrocketing. People are really feeling the pain." Are they? Do they know it? They're feeling it but do they think anybody else is feeling it? There's no news on it and there's certainly no negative news about it. Whatever news about the gas price going up tends to be, "Well, you know, there's really some good news about this. Less dependence on foreign oil. Less travel. Less accidents. Fewer lives lost." I mean, they're actually doing stories on the benefits of rising gasoline prices. Something you would never see, of course, if a Republican were in the Oval Office.

Donald Trump and Sarah Palin Dubbed by Media as Pariahs

It is unfair that Palin and Trump are dubbed by the media as pariahs. The media is scared that Trump for actually speaking the truth and putting the issues against Obama on the spotlight. On the other hand, the media is deathly scared of Palin because she, like Trump, will attack with a smile.

(NY Daily News) Donald Trump and Sarah Palin have more in common than being mega-celebrities with their own reality TV shows -- they are both treated unfairly by the media, too, according to the former Alaska governor.

Palin rushed to the defense of the billionaire real estate mogul and aspiring GOP presidential candidate Tuesday, ripping claims that his platform consists only of doubts that President Obama was born in the U.S.

"I do have respect for Donald Trump and for his candidness. I think people are craving that today," Palin told Fox News' Sean Hannity.

"Trump is the one being really treated unfairly I'd say, though in the press when they're hammering him about the one issue that he has brought up and not been shy about, and that's the birth certificate. He's merely answering reporters' questions," she said. "Trump is running on the issue that President Obama is so far over his head."

Palin, of course, is an outspoken critic of what she has dubbed the "lamestream media," arguing that she and other conservatives, particularly women, are treated unfairly.

Trump also sang Palin's praises this week.

"I really respect her a lot. She's got a tremendous energy and a tremendous following. I think she's been very unfairly treated," Trump said on NBC's "Today."

Trump said he'll make a decision on whether he'll make a bid for the Oval Office before his show "Celebrity Apprentice" wraps this summer.

As for Palin, forming a presidential exploratory committee "isn't even on the radar," she said.

Liberal Hypocrisy, Abu Ghraib versus the Afghan Death Squad

The perfect double standard. Which is crueler, Abu Ghraib or Afghanistan Death Squad?? Where are the anti-war protesters? This is bull-sh*t!!!

(Washington Times) Reports of a U.S. “death squad” in Afghanistan, complete with the publication of gory photographs, have failed to attract the intense political or media attention afforded a previous war scandal — the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib.

In 2004, CBS News broadcast an array of photographs showing American jail guards abusing Iraqi detainees. The most famous: a forced pyramid of naked, humiliated prisoners. The depictions touched off an avalanche of media coverage. In Congress, liberals called for the resignation of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. Democrats launched inquiries and held a string of well-covered hearings.

In recent months, another wartime embarrassment has emerged. The Army charged five soldiers with murder in the deaths of Afghan civilians in what amounted to a “death squad.” The German magazine Der Spiegel published several digital photos of soldiers posing with the dead last month.

Yet the U.S. media have given relatively little coverage, and no one in Congress has called for Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates to quit, planned hearings or raised questions at budget hearings.

Conservatives, while not seeking negative coverage of the armed forces, say it is another example of a blatant double standard. The reason the mainstream media have barely touched the story, conservatives say, is because it happened under President Obama, not George W. Bush.

Obama's Libya address ratings down from previous speeches

I guess we are just sick of listening Obama speak. Blah, blah, blah....

(Entertainment Weekly) President Obama’s speech viewership keeps on slipping.

Monday night’s policy address on Libya delivered 25.6 million viewers, continuing the president’s trend of declining ratings for his issue-oriented telecasts.

The speech was down 12% from Obama’s address on Iraq last August (29.2 million), which fell 9% from his speech on the Gulf Coast oil spill in June (32.1 million), which in turn dropped 21% from his Afghanistan speech back in December of 2009 (40.8 million). Last night’s address could have been dinged by starting slightly before primetime, at 7:30 p.m. (which also kept Obama from making ABC choose between the commander-in-chief and airing Dancing With the Stars at its usual time).

The president’s telecast was carried across eight networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, TEL, CNN, CNBC, Fox News, and MSNBC.

Conservative Blog RedState Gives 2 thumbs up for Sarah Palin

A very well-known conservative blog, RedState, gives two-thumbs up for Sarah Palin. They summarized the accomplishments of Sarah Palin and the sites to back their claim. It is striking that the GOP establishment is only looking for a Republican candidate who can win the 2012 election. Instead, they should be looking for someone who will work the will of the people and change Washington. While every GOP contender established themselves as viable candidates, only Sarah Palin has proven to walk the walk and talk the talk. Besides, Sarah Palin is a threat to the mainstream media, the GOP establishment, and Liberal loons. I ask this to you, "Why are they scared of her?"

(RedState) OK, JSob, I finally got around to writing down my thoughts on the matter:

One of the most oft-repeated criticisms of Sarah Palin is that she doesn’t have any “accomplishments”. The usual line of attack, borrowed from the Lamestream Media, is that she couldn’t hack it as governor for more than two years, resigning in tears when confronted with the evidence of her unethical dealings (somehow she simultaneously gets blamed for the ethics laws themselves), and fleeing the state of Alaska in order to rake in the cash from her rabid cult following in the lower 48. Or something. Nary a mention of the Vice Presidential campaign, the long knives of the media and the Chicago mob machine, the dismissal of all ethics complaints, the crushing financial burden of defending herself from these charges, or her desire to serve her country at the national level. The fraudulent allegations of these cynical bystanders deserve a rebuttal.

Governor Palin has “accomplished” many things not only as governor, but also as a city councilwoman, mayor, and oil and gas commissioner. During her time in Wasilla, she cut property taxes, opposed unnecessary government regulations, prioritized infrastructure development, and attracted jobs and businesses to the city. Under her leadership, the town was grew and prospered. Her terms as city councilwoman and mayor are chronicled here and here. As a governor, Palin cut spending. She had two major legislative accomplishments: AGIA (Alaska Gasline Inducement Act), which restarted a stalled project to build a pipeline to deliver Alaska’s oil and natural gas to the lower 48, and ACES (Alaskans’ Clear and Equitable Share), which restructured a disastrous system of taxing oil comapnies to one that worked better for both the people of Alaska and the oil companies. Some of Palin’s opponents (such as members of the CBC that were abusing the tax system) have criticized this plan as “redistributing wealth” since it taxes oil companies and gives individual Alaskans a check from oil revenues. However, the Alaskan Constitution specifies that the resources of Alaska belong to the people (not the state, which would be socialist), oil companies were already taxed (but corruption flourished under Murkowski), and in reality a shareholder model would be the more appropriate analogy. Instead of the state wasting the money, citizens are given back their tax dollars (more on this later). More information about her actions in office can be found here and here.

All this is great. But none of it gets to the heart of Palin’s true accomplishments. Her true legacy lies in her steel spine, her faith and values, her unwavering dedication to standing up and speaking out for the little guy against those who would seek to take advantage of him (or her), and her unrelenting commitment to always doing the right thing, no matter the personal or political cost.

Finally, someone has chronicled these intangible attributes, as well as some of her more concrete achievements, in one succinct article. Whitney Pitcher of C4P articulates better than I ever could 47 reasons why Governor Palin is preeminently qualified to be President, in honor of Palin’s 47th birthday. I highly recommend that you read through the list, and I challenge you to name one other candidate whose accomplishments measure up to Palin’s. It is increasingly clear that she is the only person for the job.

Obama is Mad Because President Mubarak Attacks Al Jazeera News

Al Jazeera is no different to any of the American news organization like MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN. Liberal biased media runs rampant all over the world. It is to those naive people who aren't able to distinguish truth from rubbish, or biased coverage to honest journalism. I have never watch a Al Jazeera broadcast, but our president is glued to it. The main news Obama watches come from Al Jazeera news because they both share the same political belief.

(My Way) CAIRO (AP) - The Egyptian government has made clear it believes a chief culprit stoking the anti-government protests roiling the country is pan-Arab broadcaster Al-Jazeera.

Security forces have detained, and later released, at least nine Al-Jazeera correspondents since the protests erupted last month. Authorities have banned its Arabic and English language channels from broadcasting and revoked the press credentials of all of its journalists. The channel has continued to report despite the restrictions.

Pro-government thugs set the Qatar-based network's Cairo offices ablaze last week, along with the equipment inside, as part of a broad pattern of attacks on journalists covering the unrest.

Egypt's newly appointed vice president, Omar Suleiman, told Egyptian newspaper editors on Tuesday that "certain satellite channels" are provoking the protesters and insulting Egypt.

A week earlier, Suleiman said: "I blame some friendly countries who own unfriendly channels that have fueled the youth against the country by lying and showing the situation as worse than it is."

While he hasn't named Al-Jazeera outright, it is clear to Egyptians whom Suleiman has in mind, and such comments have served as a clear signal to the regime and its supporters to hit back at the network.

And they did.

Besides the attack on its Cairo bureau and the detention of its reporters, Al-Jazeera said its website was hacked. A banner advertisement on its Arabic-language site was taken down for more than two hours and replaced with a slogan reading "Together for the collapse of Egypt."

The network has even had trouble staying on the air because of high levels of interference in its broadcast signal. Al-Jazeera said the government shut off the channel's signal from an Egyptian satellite. Egyptians with satellite dishes could adjust them to point to other satellites beaming the Al-Jazeera signal, but that is not easy to do. Since the cutoff, the channel has provided viewers the coordinates to make the change.

Obama Should be Blamed for Inciting Violence in America

Overall, Conservatives hold a high moral standard. However, Democrats revel in conducting that is unjust and shameful, which is contrary to justice, modesty, or good morals. It is why Republicans set the example when a member of the GOP displays an act of moral turpitude. This is not the same among Democrats. It is disengenous when the MSM purport Republican incite violence. If Republicans did incite violence, they must be taking the cue from Barack Obama. The president has been known to use ugly rhetoric to incite the Democrat base.

For instance:

Obama: “If They Bring a Knife, We Bring a Gun”

Obama to the Press: Cambridge police acted stupidly

Obama to lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”

Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”

Obama on the private sector: “I want to know whose ass to kick.

Obama to warns voters: A Republican take-over would mean “hand to hand combat

Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”

Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”

Obama at a fundraiser: "Republicans can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

Obama to his supporters: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”

Therefore, the person responsible acting as a role model to incite violence because of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, age or disability should be the person at the top and that is Obama.

Palin Mocks Obama and the Media with a Thanksgiving Message

Sarah Palin hits back to Obama and the Mainstream Media for their hypocrisy. Palin is a fighter and will not back down an attack from idiot journalist and the Obama Administration. If Palin didn't fight back, her small diminutive gaffe would escalate to something worth nothing.

In Palin's Facebook, she mocked Obama and the media by stating:

My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…

Palin hits back at Obama, media after slip-up

From Obama's gaffe to the Mainstream Media's cut and paste journalism, the credibility of liberals to criticize other peoples mistake is laughable. Since there isn't anything to criticize about Sarah Palin, the slightest honest mistake is making headlines. It is absolutely disingenuous. I do enjoy when liberals and the ignorant implode when they hear her name. It is so funny.

Next for the Republican Establishment is Stopping Sarah Palin

The 2010 Midterm Elections could been a Republican landslide, but the Republican establishment end that dream. While the House of Representative is an important win, the Republican "elite" establishment only purpose is to stifle the Obama agenda. It is all a chess game. The GOP got the Democrats in "check" and they are two moves away for "checkmate." The Republican establishment may have a conservative outer skin, but deep inside they are as ugly as the Democrat party. During this Midterm Election, they sabotage the Tea Party Movement. They are scare that there is a new sheriff is in town. The Republican establishment didn't "help" any Republican candidate that were endorsed by Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement like Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell.

Now the elections are over, the Republican establishment is working hand in hand with Liberal elites to stop the Sarah Palin Express. Using the lame excuse that Sarah Palin will lose in the General Election and she is the devil is really poor reasoning. It is obvious that she has the charisma and talent to make this country shine and once again make America exceptional. It is ignorant people, who cannot put 2 good reasons why Palin should run, road blocking her success. Combining that with the elitist, Palin has a hard uphill climb.

Just like Ronald Reagan, the Republican establishment had a hard time accepting him. Look how he turned out.
