These "safe banks" almost seem like a contradiction in terms, given the state of the financial system. They are up for auction at the end of this week. "Safe banks" is not a term I am familiar with for another reason too. If they are what I think they are, then I would refer to them as "piggy banks". For so many reasons this terminology seems much more apt.
